I was intrigued by this combination of gut and skin support in one supplement. Every item listed except the sea moss provides for some aspect of skin health like nourishment, hydration, elasticity, and plumpness. The sea moss naturally promotes gut health, without using a probiotic blend. The capsules come in a wide-mouth plastic bottle with a screw-on lid, with a safety seal inside. The expiration date is more than two years away. The capsules are shorter than a standard paper clip, and are easy to swallow. There’s no strong odor or after taste. I’ve taken these for four days without any digestive issues of other side effects. As with most supplements, it takes time to tell if they’re effective. I just know that the ingredients in this are appropriate to support my skin’s health. It takes 3 capsules per day to comprise a “serving” per the Supplement Facts, so a bottle of 90 is a one-month supply for $40. That’s pretty steep, but then so are topical treatments for skin, and this does it from the inside. I prefer this natural approach to skin care so, if I notice results at the end of the 30 days, I’m very likely to purchase another bottle. The only thing I didn’t really need is the vitamin C. If you already take a multivitamin, this isn’t necessary, especially at 167% of the recommended daily amount! I wish this capsule only has the helpful ingredients not typically found in multivitamins. Leaving it out could also bring down the price a bit.
